Section One V1-5 Love God, Love People
John talked to us again about life. By using the Word of God, through John, we can be built up and we can learn. God wants us to live a godly life in this world, to be the salt and light, and to shine in this world.
Jesus is from the loving Father, and we are also from the loving Father, we are loved and we are not orphans. We don’t need to seek love from this world. We are selfish beings, but God’s commandments are for us to love God first. When we keep the commandments, then we can gradually enter the mode to love others. It’s not difficult to love, when we keep the commandments from God, He will teach us step by step how to love.
God is love. Keeping God’s commandments is love, and we can overcome this world. We are the chosen ones, we are the ones being called, have faith, be willing to live under the Tree of Life, and our lives will be changed.
Section Two V6-17 By the Holy Spirit, By Testimony
The Holy Spirit helps us to live a life with testimonies. When Jesus completed the salvation plan, the Holy Spirit promised by God to the Son will be given. Only when we are willing to shape our lives, to come out of darkness and to enter light, then the image of Jesus will be reflected on us. When we are willing to deny ourselves, our lives will be filled with testimonies, people will want to follow us.
Section Three V18-21 By Truth, By Wisdom
When we live in the truth, then God will keep us and protect us. Let go of the worldly thoughts, let go of the worldly lifestyle, and let God become our One and only. We should learn to deal with our flesh, and not fall into the worldly temptation. God is love, He will transform our lives, our family, our workplace, our health, and every aspect of our lives.
约翰一书 5 – 属神的生命

我们跟从神的人常说自己是属于耶稣的。怎样的生命才能在世上为神作盐作光，像耶稣基督一样如明灯照耀？
一、v.1-5 爱神爱弟兄
V1 耶稣是从良善的天父生的，我们有爱我们的天父，就不是孤儿，不需要去讨取自己所想要的爱。
V2-3 我们可能会觉得自己被条条框框的规定束缚、没有自由，却不曾想到神的诫命帮助我们能去爱神、爱人。爱人是不难的，只要我们愿意去守神的诫命。神就是爱，所以守诫命就是爱，能让我们胜过世界。
V4-5 只要我们有信心，不看自己的能力，而是在生命树的气息之下谦卑顺服、舍己利他，就能有爱神爱弟兄的生命。
二、v.6-17 有圣灵有见证
圣灵来，使我们能为罪为义为审判自己责备自己。我们活在圣灵的带领里，生命就有见证了。我们有见证，人就能从我们身上看到耶稣基督。当我们愿意“舍己”的时候，生命就充满见证、充满吸引人的故事。
三、v.18-21 有真理有智慧
V18 我们时常想求神保守我们，老约翰则提醒，只要我们活在真理里 – 就是活在圣灵里，愿意与世界划清界限，就是属神的人了，得蒙保守，“那恶者也无法害他”。
V21 什么是我们的偶像呢？是人的称赞、金钱、别人的爱、还是世界的享乐？我们要“自守”- 学会控制好自己，不要跌入世界的网罗。让我们愿意在生命树下谦卑舍己，使我们的生命被翻转，蒙神的祝福。
