God opens the way for us, He wants to bless us and our family. God wants us to have a heavenly image, to live on earth as in heaven.
Psalm 126
When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad. Bring back our captivity, O Lord, As the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.
(1) To Live in the Promise of God (V1-3)
What does it mean by living in the promise of God, the promise has not yet be fulfilled, but when we want to have this heavenly life, we must have faith in God, to live like how God promised us.
We struggle about our lives in the past, it’s easy for us to have negative thoughts, many things try to stop us coming to the family of God. But God promised us, even though we were lost, God will bring us back, to heal us, to restore us to how He created us. He will restore our marriage relationship, our relationship with our children, and our relationship with others.
As long as we commit in God, we will receive every good thing from Him! God prepares for us, we need to live in His promise! The Lord has done a great thing for us! His intention is good for us, He wants to bless us no matter what!
(2) To Trust God (V4-6)
(i) To keep praying
We need to continue praying, let the light of God come to our lives, and the Word of God can change our lives! God put us in South Auckland because He wants us the receive His stream of living water!
(ii) To obey and follow
God will not let us go empty-handed, but it’s up to our faith and attitude. What attitude do we bring to church today? Do we believe God is a faithful God? Are we willing to trust God that He brings us here for a purpose?
God is our loving Father, He wants the best for us, so come to Him today and receive a life as in heaven!
