Section One V1-12 By Wisdom Comes Strength
V1-2 ‘Do not be envious of evil men, nor desire to be with them; for their heart devises violence, and their lips talk of troublemaking.’ Do not be like those who do not believe God, they indulge in this world, trying to lure others into the world so we will also reject God. We must set our lives apart as holy, when we notice something in our lives that keep us away from God, then we must bring it forward and let God deal with it immediately.
V3-4 ‘Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.’ Everything God wants to give to us is full of grace, and we don’t have to get it with any schemes of the world. God prepared everything before Solomon was building His temple. When we humble ourselves and honour God, then He will give us all the wisdom and knowledge we need. He will also bring resources and people to us, and work everything for the good of those who love Him.
V5-6 ‘A wise man is strong, yes, a man of knowledge increases strength; for by wise counsel, you will wage your own war, and in a multitude of counsellors there is safety.’ When we face challenges, it’s so easy for us to seek answers from people around us, or search online for other people’s experiences, knowledge, advises… but only the wisdom and knowledge from God can best deal with our problems in life. Do we choose the counsellors of the world, or do we choose the wisdom from God? When we have wisdom, then we will have strength. Often, we say we want to be ready before we come to God, but we have to come to God first, to receive His wisdom, then we can receive strength, health, favours, prosperity… from Him.
V7 ‘Wisdom is too lofty for a fool; he does not open his mouth in the gate.’ When we choose to receive the true wisdom from God, then nothing will be too difficult for us. V10 ‘If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.’ But on the other hand, if we choose to give up and faint before our problem, then we can never receive the strength from God. Do not go back to our old self, do not return back to our own cave, otherwise we will continue to walk in a circle or reach a dead end, and never come out from our problems.
V11-12 ‘Deliver those who are drawn toward death, and hold back those stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, “Surely we did not know this,” Does not He who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, does He not know it?’ And will He not render to each man according to his deeds?’ We choose to follow God and we choose God’s Way, not because we are ready, we are healthy, we are wealthy, we are happy… but because we believe by wisdom from God, it comes strength.
Section Two V13-22 By Wisdom Comes Hope
Psalm 19:9-10 says, ‘The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.’ The fear and the judgements of the Lord is the Word of God. When we fear in the Lord, and receive His Word, then we will no longer be in fear and we can have hope.
V15-16 ‘Do not lie in wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; do not plunder his resting place; for a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity.’ Become followers of God does not mean we will not fall, but it means that when we fall, we can again and again rise up. The Light of God is here, we cannot allow ourselves to have more excuses not to get up, because we have the strength from God and the hope from God.
V17-18 ‘Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles; lest the Lord see it, and it displease Him, and He turn away His wrath from him.’ Jacob wrestle with God, he does not wrestle to fight against God, but to ask for blessings. When David complained to God about his enemies, he also worshipped God. What are we doing when we are wrestling with God? When our hearts are full of anger, we also must praise God, do not hear the lies of Satan. When we praise then the strength will come to our lives.
V21-22 ‘My son, fear the Lord and the king; do not associate with those given to change; for their calamity will rise suddenly, and who knows the ruin those two can bring?’ When there is calamity happen in our lives, we also need to examine into our lives. What is our attitude towards God and towards our authority? When we hide from God, then our face will lose the light of God and people can also see the calamity in our lives.
Section Three V23-34 By Wisdom Comes Discernment
We become the true sons and daughters of God, then we can receive the wisdom from God, then God will give us all the strength, hope and discernment we need in life.
箴言 24 – 生命在于智慧

每一个跟从神的人都是神所爱的儿女，他是一位良善的天父，每一天都在陪伴我们。真儿女的生命究竟是什么，我们是否轻看生命？
一、v.1-12 有智慧 有能力
V1 地上的生活会阻止我们看见神，因为罪进入了世界，我们再不能与神面对面。如何活出在地如在天的生命，关键在于有“智慧”。“恶人”就是不认识神的人，我们不要嫉妒他们，也不要渴望像那些人一样。我们过去那不认识神的“恶人”已经死去，现在的我们是新造的人。不要跟过去的恶人相处，不要再过着那没有在神话语带领下的生活。
V2“图谋强暴”就是想脱离神的带领，我们要懂得敬畏耶和华，得到真智慧。
V3-4 房屋是我们居住的地方，不是靠我们双手打拼或从父母那里得来，因为这些财富总会过去。房屋是从智慧建造而来。我们要先寻求神的国和神的义，这些外面所需的神自然会给我们。谦卑敬畏神，智慧、财富会充满我们。
V5 世上的人以为知识很重要，我们则相信要先有智慧，这样才有从神而来的知识、能力。有些信主的人反而更加“劳苦重担”，因为他们无法脱下过去的模式，一直想要用自己的能力“做事情”。当你觉得自己不行、软弱的时候，你的选择是什么呢？是否只是想休息？耶稣来到世上找寻的不是有能力的人，而是有“病”的人。当我们里面有小剧场、充满负面情绪的时候，我们更要来到神面前寻求帮助，而不是躲回自己的山洞。敬畏耶和华，我们才有智慧、知识、能力，且力上加力。
V7 不认识神的人不会明白我们为什么我们要选择活出谦卑顺服、舍己利他的生命，因为他们无法像我们一样有智慧、有能力。我们可能会看到事情被莫名其妙的处理好了，但这些不是我们自己的能力，而是从敬畏耶和华而来。
V10 当我们遇到问题时，我们是否选择掩面不见神、放纵自己？若是这样，我们的力量就微小。若不明白敬畏耶和华是智慧的开端，我们就会走进山洞。我们有力量并非因为自己没有问题、心情好、或者别人夸奖我们，而是来自敬畏耶和华
二、v.13-22 有智慧 有计谋
V13 诗篇19：9-10讲到神的道理、典章比蜜还甘甜，是我们脚前的灯、路上的光。如果我们觉得无力、看不到出路，是因为我们没有神的道理、典章做我们前方的灯和光。
V16 有神同在不代表我们就不会跌倒，连“义人”都会跌倒七次。我们跌倒后，要靠着神的话语站起来，就算不断跌倒，还是能兴起，因为神的光已经来到，我们不再软弱，而都是有智慧有能力的人。
V17-18 当我们幸灾乐祸时，就没有爱人如己的心了。连神都会怜悯恶人。我们要看到自己所有的一切并非靠自己能力获得，所以可以在每一件事情上感恩。当我们自己不行的时候，我们不需要有压力，更不要咒骂神，而是来到神面前敬拜赞美他。
V21-22 若没有看到神是良善的天父，我们就很容易去骂神、骂权柄。我们尊荣神和我们的权柄，就使“灾难”远离我们。当人藐视神和权柄的时候，通常皮肤会出现问题，就好像摩西的姐姐米利暗长大麻风那样，使众人看到不敬畏神和权柄的后果，从中受警戒。
三、v.23-34 有智慧 有分辨
跟从神的人有神儿女的生命，因着敬畏神就有智慧，有分辨力，能知道什么事该做或不该做。
